Desktop Computer Setup
After picking up your station from the designated location, locate the bag of cables in the classroom.
While all classroom configurations do not look exactly alike, most of them will be similar. Here is a typical classroom computer.
If your room has a smartboard, there will also be a small box that splits the computer signal between the monitor and the projector. While we have a couple of different styles, they work the same way.
- Uncover and plug in the projector.
- Verify that the sound works.
- Turn on the projector and check projected image.
- Orient the Smart Board , if you have one.
- If needed, see these guides for the steps on installing your building's copy machine(s) which you will use for printing.
Work Orders
If needed, ask another teacher or your instructional coach for assistance before doing a Work Order.
You can access the Log in Work Order System from your building website: Staff Menu>Work Orders Links to an external site.. If you have not created an account in the new work order system, follow the steps in this guide.
