Using School Dude for Work Orders

Our work order system for maintenance and technology requests is called SchoolDude.

Creating an account 

If you create an account but do not submit a work order, the system does NOT save your account. To create an account, go to the website Links to an external site. and click the arrow next to "Register Here."

Complete all the fields in the form. You enter the school's phone number.

Submitting a Maintenance Request

  1. Select the Maint Request tab.
  2. Complete all the boxes with the red check marks. These are required fields. Include as much information as you can to help the department making the repairs. 
  3. After you have selected your location, area, and room, you can check the box to remember the information for next time.
  4. In the Submit Password field enter: go.
  5. Click the Submit button.

Tech Request

  1. Click the IT Request tab.
  2. Use the drop down menus to select the Work Type, Location and Room.
  3. In the Description box include as much detail as you can, including error messages and troubleshooting steps you've already tried.
  4. Click the Create Ticket button.
  5. At this point you will have access to the Attachments tab and can upload a file such as a screenshot, PDF, document file, etc.
