THE WHYEmail proficiency is mandated for all staff members. You will be expected to check your email frequently throughout the day. With practice, you will find that email is a great way to collaborate with your peers, communicate with students, and update parents. Gmail can be used by teachers and students in grades 3-12 to communicate and collaborate. It can be used to add authenticity to learning by allowing students to connect with mentors and advisors outside of the classroom. It provide the opportunity to provide instruction in digital citizenship: cyberbullying, privacy and security.
