Grant Writing Guidance
In an effort to assist you in applying for small community grants to aid in obtaining funds for field trips, classroom supplies and building initiatives, we have provided below some demographic data as well as tax information. Community grant vendors that provide money for educational programs and initiatives are MO Department of Conservation, United Way, Target, Lowes, Walgreens, State Farm, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon and many more. The internet is your friend when searching for local community grants.
In addition to providing you some grant guidance we have also included some Grant Tips and Tricks to help you secure funds. We created a DISTRICT grant application Links to an external site. that must be completed in addition to your required vendor Grant application.
Please remember that for any grant that requires a district match, you must obtain building/board approval. BUILDING funds that are used to support the match must have building approval. Any DISTRICT funds you expect to obtain to support the match must be board approved before gaining vendor approval.
Some examples of successful awards for other districts have been posted for your convenience.
If you need further assistance, have any questions or concerns please contact Lisa Blankenship, Director of Finance at District Office.
