End of Year Procedures for Classroom Tech

Important Note: Do not follow these procedures if your room is being used as a summer school classroom. The summer school teacher will be responsible for following these steps in your room.

Storage bags available for each classroom. Your filled storage bag and your monitor can be kept in your classroom or closet in a safe location.  If you have a locking cabinet or closet, that would be great. You will be able to take the laptop home over the summer.  

 

Smartboards and Projectors

Obviously, your Smartboard and your projector will stay in your room.  Cover your projector with a breathable cloth bag like a pillowcase to protect it from dust and debris. The bag should be breathable to keep moisture from building up inside the cover while the air conditioning is turned off; that moisture could damage and shorten the life of the projector & bulb. 

Turn in Tower

Check with your building administration on where you should take the disconnected computer tower.
