Google Drive

You won't be able to edit just any file using Google Drive, but can download these files and edit them locally. You will be able to edit uploaded Word files. Local Servers
When you are logged into Novell, you have access to the following local servers:
District Staff Share Drive
The F Drive is visible to all staff in the district; It is a common point for files and software to which everyone district-wide requires access. You may put files here for temporary use only (like transferring from one person to another, or a short-term project, etc). Please delete them when you are finished with them.
Building Staff Share Drives
- For HS and MS Staff this is the K Drive
- For K-6 buildings this is the G Drive.
This is where you will find the Shared folder, access to Student User folders, and Files/Programs of specific interest to the high school.
Personal Storage Drive
The H Drive is your personal storage space on the server; Only you have access to this folder, and things you save here will only be visible to you. Your Documents folder on your station points to this drive. When you save a file in the Documents folder it is saved to the building server. There will be a restriction on the quantity of data you can keep in here, probably on the order of 15-20 GB.
NetStorage
NetStorage allows teachers and students to access files on the local servers from any Internet connected device, from any location, using a browser or app. You will have access to all the same folders and files that you do when logged in at school on a station. You can upload and download files, and manage your files and folders. There is a link to NetStorage Links to an external site. on the Staff menu of the building websites.
