How It Works

So you have a paper and you need some help... that's what we are here for! 

Students helping students is the whole idea behind the writing center. 

We have student consultants available to help you each day during TNT. 

We can help with all types of writing from research papers to poems!

 

What You Can Expect: 

-We will be courteous and polite to you at ALL times! 

-We will help you with one main item on your paper in one session. 

-We will not help you with grammar. We are not an editing service but a writing consultant service. 

-You will write or make the comments on your paper. We will talk to you! 

 

Things You Need to Know: 

-In order to ensure that a consultant is available for you, you need to make you appointment at least 24 hours before you plan to come to the writing center.

-You may schedule more than one appointment per assignment. 

-Be sure to get your TNT pass signed by Mrs. Westerfield (Room 110). 

-If you cancel more than two appointments, your Writing Center privileges may be revoked. 

 

What to Bring: 

-Either print the paper or have it available on your laptop. 

-A good attitude and polite manner

-Questions/a focus of what you need most
